The Accidental Baker is committed to building a better future for our community. We prioritize environmentally and socially conscious business practices that support growth while protecting our natural resources.

Quality Ingredients

Our crackers start with quality ingredients from vendors who value sustainable practices.

All of our flour is sourced from Lindley Mills, a local flour mill that has served the region since 1755. When we buy locally, we reduce the carbon emissions associated with transportation, and we support sustainable business practices.

Reducing Waste

We are committed to making sure every cracker we sell is one we’re proud of.

But what do we do with the crackers that don’t pass muster?

We partner with a local farm and donate any crackers that don’t meet our exacting standards. They then feed the crackers to their goats and chickens, supplementing their diets and reducing waste.

Our boxes are also 100% recyclable, which keeps waste out of the landfill.

Our impact is circular, and that we believe our food systems should be as well in order to promote a more sustainable future.
